About The Teacher
EP inspires passion for music and musical expression by example. With over 25 years experience, EP is a teacher committed to aspiring creatives of all levels, ages and abilities. Together with EP, you will honor your unique journey, exemplify your strengths, tackle your weaknesses in order to translate, express and create from the heart in a way which feels authentic and soul centered.
Teaching Style:
EP differs from traditional teachers by striving to cultivate an authentic and personal experience for each person, on their level. A set curriculum blindly following hundreds of years of tradition that the student must adapt to is not followed. Instead, each student is empowered and coached to self-discover a curriculum that feeds their heart and soul through musical discovery and self expression. In our studio, you will gain tools, technique and skills needed to be successful in any style you choose. The foundation we lay is one that applies to the study of all music, seriously and for fun, and that also applies to universal education in the school of life. We include relevant music to NOW and at the same time are able to integrate a perspective that honors, the foundations of music, the classical tradition and the roots and soul of all forms of American music today.

Together, we can honor our true selves and honor our uniqueness as creative artists who have something to say. It is truly and honor and a pleasure to carry our personal stories forward and share, in turn inspiring others to share theirs.
Authenticity
Finding the TRUE You… We have learned through being open and vulnerable with others, and through teaching for 25 years that learning is always reciprocal. Every aspect of our lives connects us, and our openness to be with the truth of who we are empowers each of us, and the world, to grow, evolve and become more beautiful. We are excited to join you as a friend on this amazing path to becoming WHO YOU ARE musically and exponentially.
Connection and Collaboration
Art, music, dance, theater and poetry are all outlets for you to connect and share on an authentic level. Life connections to art, vulnerability, failure, challenge or triumph through pain and blocks all need to be let out organically. As this happens we grow together and the greater good continues to expand in love. As we feed our soul, our art becomes more connected.
Cosmic Task
One of our favorite teaching styles is the Montessori approach to learning which empowers the student to discover independently and helps each person find their “cosmic task.” We believe a unique spiritual path exists for all of us, to connect heart, soul, mind and strength with the universal purpose essential to a life of authenticity. We’d like to help you find that connection and experience true passion in your creative work through authenticity.
About the Lessons: You will receive one on one instruction in the subject of your choice, either once per week or twice per month. I tailor the curriculum individually to you to maximize your growth opportunities and creative freedom.

Diversity Statement
EP is passionate about serving the populations who most need advocacy, including people of color, those with learning differences and who are differently abled, as well as the non-binary and gender non-conforming community. Her work strives to universalize and individuate expression to make it accessible and appreciated by audiences regardless of ability, color, race, religion, spirituality, heritage, nationality, gender identity or sexuality.
